    Fennel Seed
  • 1 tbsp
    Poppy Seed
  • 1/2 cup
    Cashewnut
  • 1/4 cup
    Almond
  • 20 g
    Almond flakes (For garnish)
  • 15 Pcs
    Black Pepper Whole
  • 1 tbsp
    Dried Rose Petal
  • 1 pinch
    Saffron
  • 3 tbps
    Melon seeds
  • 1/4 cup
    Lotus seeds
  • 1 cup
    Sugar
  • 1 ltr
    Milk( Full Cream) Chilled

Method

1. Soak all the ingredients except milk in cold water for 5-6 hours. A minimum 2 hours of soaking is advised.                                                                                                                              

2. Discard the water used for soaking adn blend in all the soaked ingerdients in a food processor to make a smooth paste along with sugar and make a thick mixture.

3. Empty the mixture in a jar with lid as this is the concentrate and needs to be refrigerated. Add 2 tbsp of the mixture with one glass of chilled milk to make a glass of thandai.

Garnish with fresh almond flakes and serve chilled.
