    Almonds
  • 200 ml
    Water

    Milk
  • 5 g
    Tea leaves
  • 12 g
    Sugar
  • 1 g
    Green cardamom
  • 3 g
    Ginger
  • 0.1 g

Almond Tea – Method of Preparation

1. Prepare the Australian Almonds

  • Soak Australian almonds in water for 30–40 minutes.
  • Peel the skin and grind or crush into a coarse paste.

2. Boil the Base

  • Add 200 ml water to a pan.
  • Add ginger and cardamom.
  • Bring to a gentle boil to release the flavours.

3. Add Tea Leaves

  • Add the tea leaves and boil for 1 minute.

4. Add Almond Paste

  • Stir in the prepared almond paste.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes, allowing the flavours to infuse.

5. Add Milk & Sugar

  • Add milk and sugar.
  • Simmer until the tea develops a rich golden colour.

6. Final Touch

  • Finish with saffron strands.
  • Strain and serve hot.

Garnish & Serve

Garnish with almond flakes and serve hot.
